Before beginning any work on the tub, we first remove any items that can be in our way. We cover everything in the bathroom and the floors so that your bathroom is the same way as we first came in. After that is taken care of, we clean the tub from any debris, dirt, soap scum, or body oils. Then we apply an acid formulated to remove the original glaze of the tub in order for the coatings to permanently attach to the tub. After we let the acid work, we wash it off with warm water, dry it, and then sand it. During that process we also treat any rust spots. holes, cracks. Then after everything is well covered and the tub is treated, we begin the spraying process. We first apply the coatings of primer which is especially used for metal. We let the primer dry, then caulk. Finally, the topcoat is sprayed and then we remove the masking paper and plastic used to cover your bathroom. At the end, you just let your re-glazed bathtub dry for a period of 24 hours.
